Apollo International School believes that Co-curricular activities helps to enhance the growth of the child in more than one ways right from his early education to his higher education in school . Co-curricular activities are meant to bring social skills, emotional skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character building  in students. Participating in such activities helps the child to grow individually, socially, and mentally therefore, we include co-curricular activities in their educational programs as an integral part of the school life. It is not only the duty of the teachers but also the parents, to encourage their children to participate in such programs, wholeheartedly. Parents need to understand that though these voluntary activities are not scholastic, but they help in the overall social development of the child by helping them to unlock their hidden extra-scholastic potentials. Co-curricular activities help to induce confidence in children from a very early stage of development. Since, co-curricular activities are merged with academics therefore, it ensures that students get to learn effectively. Students perform co-curricular activities in schools, which help them sharpen their communication skillsexpression skills, public speaking, participation and sense of belongingness through different activities like debates, recitation. Art and craft, creative art competitions, classroom activities like reading, group discussions etc.
