The entire pattern of examination is based on the CBSE mode of assessments with two major assessments, Midterm Exam in September and the Final term Exam in March. In between class assessments are conducted four times in a year to evaluate the learning process of the students. Other then this two special ONLINE EXAM for Middle and Senior wing are conducted ONLINE in collaboration with AFL (HCL) so as to train them from beginning to coup up as per the system of different competitive online exams and also to enable students to understand their lacunae and work upon them. The results are designed in a manner to enable the teachers to get an insight into the key drawback issues related to each student individually and in every concept.

Annual Assessment will be done under Scholastic (on the basis of Two Terms) and Non-Scholastic.

SCHOLISTIC ASSESMENT:

TERM-1 (100 Marks)

  1. Periodic Assessment- Under this there will be Class test and Unit Tests.(M.M-10)
    • Class Test- In the month of July. Syllabus from April to July. (10 Marks).
    • Unit Test – In the month of August. Syllabus from April to August. ( 30 Marks).
  2. Half-Yearly Examination- To be held in the month of September. Syllabus from April to August. (M.M-80).
  3. Subject Enrichment Activity- (M.M-5).
    • English/Hindi/French- Assessment of Speaking and Listening Skills.
    • Maths/Science/ Social Science- Project, Presentations, Lab. Activity and Group Discussions.
  4. Note-Book Submission- (M.M-5)
    • Regularity
    • Punctuality
    • Note-book upkeep
    • Work done
    • Assignment Completion

TERM-2 -(100 Marks)

  1. Periodic Assessment- Under this there will be Class test and Pre- Annual/Board.(M.M-10)
    • Class Test- In the month of November (10 Marks each).
    • Pre-Annual/Board – In the month of December 2017 and January 2018.(M.M-80).
  2. Subject Enrichment Activity- (M.M-5).
    • English/Hindi/French- Assessment of Speaking and Listening Skills.
    • Maths/Science/ Social Science- Project, Presentations, Lab. Activity and Group Discussions.
  3. Note-Book Submission- (M.M-5)
    • Regularity

    • Assignment Completion.
  4. Annual Examination- To be held between the month of February and March. (M.M-80).
    • Syllabus for Final Exam will be as per given structure:-
      • Classes I – V- Complete syllabus of second term only.
      • Class VI – 10 % of 1st term covering significant topics + entire Syllabus of 2nd term.
      • Class VII – 20 % of 1st term covering significant topics + entire Syllabus of 2nd term.
      • Class VIII – 30 % of 1st term covering significant topics + entire Syllabus of 2nd term.

      • Class X – Entire Syllabus (Complete Book)

NON-SCHOLISTIC ASSESMENT:

Students will be assessed on the basis of co-curricular activities and graded at 5 Point Scale (IX-X) and 3 Point Scale(I-VIII).

  1. Work Education/Pre-Vocational Education- General Computer Education.
  2. Visual and Performing Art- Art Education , any form of Creative Art.
  3. Health and Physical education- Sports, Martial Arts, Yoga, NCC.
  4. Values- Discipline, Sincerity and Behavioral Activities.
